Each week we will practise postures to develop strength, stamina and flexibility of both body and mind to help you enjoy your pregnancy and prepare you for labour, birth and beyond. The sessions cover poses and exercises for relief of common pregnancy ailments, optimal foetal positioning and preparation for labour. Each week we will work with breathing techniques to promote relaxation and mindfulness. Every class finishes with a deep relaxation to leave you feeling calm and rested.
These weekly classes offer you dedicated space and time to connect with your baby and focus on your wellbeing. The classes also provide a great opportunity to connect with other local expectant mums.
Suitable for both those new to yoga and those with an established practice. Options and modifications are provided to allow you to work at your own level.
Class size is limited to ensure individual focus
All mats, cushions, eye pillows, blankets, bolsters, blocks etc. provided
The classes run in rolling six week blocks and are recommended from 12-14 weeks onwards. Part blocks can be booked post 34 weeks. Drop ins may be available subject to space.
