Our NEW and improved Autumn class timetable has now been launched.

Following members input we have made some changes, scheduled some new times, more variety, early mornings , mid morning and early evenings for you all to enjoy.

  • 30 weekly classes
  • 11 Day in advance  free online booking
  • £2 per class for guests with any member throughout October & November

NB  – all of our paid classes are run by external instructors.  The studio is hired and managed by these fully trained, professional instructors who rent our studio space on a monthly basis.  These instructors are not paid by The Club and thus a fee is charged to cover their own costs.  Block bookings and members discounts are available on all of these paid classes.  Please contact reception for more details.


As of the 25th June we will be running our new fitness timetable.  We have reduced a couple of classes and added a few extras.  Still loads of variety and loads of opportunities to get fit in our lovely fitness studio.  Full body workouts, HIIT training, Boxing, Dance classes, Stretch classes and Abs workouts.  Its a fantastic way to keep fit either as a compliment to your gym workouts or simply as your only regular sessions.

Strength Training for Climbers

Introducing new Strength and Resistance training packages specifically designed for Climbers.

With our neighbors Alien 2 just across the road and the Winter months drawing in we have decided to offer 4, 8 or 12 week training blocks specifically designed with Climbers in mind.

We will offer an ‘Introduction to Strength Training‘, a ‘Unilateral Strength‘ block, ‘Base Strength Training‘ for more experienced climbers and an ‘In season, low volume‘ block for climbers looking to increase or maintain strength while still climbing intensely during the season.

With prices starting from only £100 (discount applied for Alien rock members) this is a great opportunity for anyone new to climbing, or for more experienced climbers, to train in a small private gym with the focus entirely on you.

How much? How heavy? How many exercises?

We appreciate that gym training is not something you do instead of climbing, but rather something you do to support climbing. Our goal is to help create better performance and to reduce injury. We will help you improve your training technique and your strength with exercises and drills specific to climbing. You can then combine this fundamental Strength training with regular climbing right next door to each other.  The Club and Alien 2 working together to support you to becoming a better climber.

Discounted gym memberships also available for all Alien 2 card holders.

STRONG by Zumba – NEW CLASS starts 29th October 2016


SIGN UP NOW for our ‘Introduction to Zumba Strong’ package.  6 classes for £27 and we will give you all the training and guidance you need to get involved in our new weekly class.


By using your body-weight you improve muscle tone and definition.  The HIT intervals will get your body burning calories long after your workout, you’ll see results faster and achieve your fitness goals.

This is going to be a great new addition to our class timetable and we are convinced that Zumba Strong will introduce a whole new group of people of all ages shapes, sizes and abilities to the benefits of High Intensity Interval training, all in a fun, safe and controlled environment.  Choreographed to some fantastic, upbeat sound tracks with body-weight movements and exercises suited to everyone, we cannot wait to get started.




METAFIT – Bodyweight training

What’s left of last weeks class……. 🙂


Due to popular demand we will be restarting our Fantastic Friday morning Zumba class.  Now starting at 9.45am every Friday – first class is FREE so if you feel like a post-school-run workout or are lucky enough to have a Friday morning off, or just free from the kids for a couple of hours then please come along and join us.

Perfect For – Everybody and every body! Each Zumba® class is designed to bring people together to sweat it on.

How It Works – We take the “work” out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party.
